中國國家一級美術師鍾建新教授生於香港，擅於國畫和水彩，創立新宋派，發明「石質虛點法」。1983-2007年當警察。今為Chevalier Academicien of Mondial Art Academia France，意大利 Frattina 畫會中畫顧問委員，世界文化藝術聯合總會(新加坡)國際會務顧問及香港區代表，中國廣州廣播電視大學客座教授。

收藏：中國釣魚臺國賓館，香港藝術館及政府多個部門及海外收藏，前港督彭定康，盧森堡亨利國王。美國韋仕華教授等。首次畫展1977年，至今舉辦不少中外個展和聯展。於2017年香港政府帶同作品在北京中國國家博物館展出。

Professor Kinsan Chung, a national first-class artist in China, was born in Hong Kong. He is good at traditional Chinese painting and watercolor. He founded the New Song Dynasty faction and invented the “Stone texiture spacing dot method”.He served as a police officer from 1983 to 2007. Today, he is Chevalier Academicien of Mondial Art Academia France, Italian Frattina Painting Association Chinese Painting Advisory Committee, International consultant and Hong Kong representative of Federation of World Cultures and Arts Society (Singapore) . Visiting professor at Guangzhou Television Boardcast University, China.

Professor John Wadsworth Jr. of USA….etc., Various government departments and overseas collecters, The first exhibition was in 1977, afterwards, he has held many solo and group exhibitions at home and abroad. In 2017, Hong Kong government brought the work to be exhibited at the National Museum of China in Beijing.
