周鎮華個人簡介：

香港出生，祖籍浙江青田。資深藝術教育工作者，師隨林建同，萬一鵬，楊善深等先生。並於香港中文大學專業進修學院及新亞書院修讀藝術課程。擅寫水墨山水，曾舉辦個展及參予各類形聯展，除了創作作品外，並策劃畫會展覽活動事務，及推廣文化交流活動，作品曾展出於中國國內各地及國外等。為華人現代藝術研究會會長。

Spring dreams: The pasture is refreshed with a new vigour

Painting: a form of communication I admire musicians and writers who can express themselves and their well of emotions fully. What about me? I do not seem to have their kind of luxury. So I thought perhaps I would give painting a go. And it has been 40 years since.

My first teacher Mr. Lam (林建同) gave me courage that 70% from hard work and 30% for talent only.

The second teacher Mr Wan (萬一鵬) said that paint as you write, write as you paint.

The third teacher Mr. Yang (楊善深) said live an honest life but not in your painting.

So many questions surfaced in my head. Till my friend Mr. Lieu (劉欽棟) told me. Be flexible in your selection of materials. You will find your ways when there are no set rules. I understood I hope that the interaction of ink and paper can be an avenue for the full expressions of life.
